Ok i just dowloaded the latest build i believe from the ftp server "xbmc-2005-01-15" and i noticed that some of the files are similar to the ones already on my xbox. So i was wondering could i simply delete these files for xbmc on my e:\ drive and replace them with the new ones over ftp?
Existing files on the dowload: credits, media, python, system, weather, language, mplayer, skin, visualisations, web, default.xbe, FileZilla Server.xml, kai-vectors.xml, keymap.xml, and XboxMediaCenter.xml.
Only Differences: new file does not have albums, log, recordings, screenshots scripts, subtitles, and thumbs folders. (so should i just delete these or keep them there and only delete the ones i can replace?)
some people have been having problems XBMC but you are using a 6 mos. old version _________________ XBOX v1.6

Thats exactly how you do it mate..
Or you could download the Auto Installer Deluxe v2.0 and then the update packages and make a .iso of the AID2 and boot in your xbox..
Then you can install 60+ dashboards, apps, and other xbox emulators.
