Posted: Thu May 20, 2004 7:13 pm Post subject: Xecuter 2.3B Lite never ending Flashing saga
I have successfully installed the modchip (2Blues and a green)and can get the initial "Please insert CD - Flashing Mode" screen on both banks when I start the xbox. I have managed to Flash the bios with (Cromwell) xecuter flashBIOS v2.28 but the problem is that when I switch the xbox on again it comes up with the same Flash mode screen again. I have had no success flashing any other bios types or trying to use ozxflash cd. I have followed all instructions to the letter but no matter what i boot with, all i get is that damn blue screen and a polite if now well annoying Flash mode screen message.
Please tell me what I have to do to get my xbox to boot up with the modchip enabled

Hello there, if you flashed your bios the right way then you switch banks to activate the one you flashed. If you were on bank 2 when you flashed then it flashed bank 1. switch to bank 1 to use it. Next up is installing a dashboard. I recommend Evox. If you need more help pm me and ill walkyou through.

Check out teamxecuter.com newbie forums, the got a really great tutorial. I highly recommend the xecuter Bios manager makes it so much easier to install a new bios. _________________ Halo SE Xbox
