having successfully reflashed my own TSOP using the 007AUF method, i am currently doing the same for a friend of mine with a 1.2/3 xbox (Conexant chip, 23/03/2003 build date, Winbond W49F020T chip) but am having some degree of difficulty with it.
it's been soldered, the AUF gamesave has been compiled with the relevant size bios (evox m8, 256k) and it appears to work, (ie the light goes orange and then powers off) but when i restart it appears to still have the m$ bios on it, as there's no evox shield on the flubber screen...
where am i coming unstuck?
(additionally - what damage can it do to your xbox if you flash a pre-1.6 xbox with evox m8_16.bin bios?) _________________ XBOX v1.4:

btw - if i needed to add raincoat .7 (which i have) to the AUF savegame in order to reflash due to it being a winbond, where would i need to put the raincoat files in the directory structure?

there is 007 save with raincoat allready in it ,
download this file

u can get it from xbins

cheers mate - i've since got it but alas, don't have a network cable to hand so i can't use it! bah - seems like pitfalls at every turn with this one. don't suppose you know how to do it without a pc do you?? _________________ XBOX v1.4:
