I was in the middle of performing a BIOS update and the power went off without the update finishing. Now I get the FRAG. I can't boot to anything. Your help would be most appreciated.

Hi kawika,
We really need more information before we can help..
Can you provide the following info:
- Your Xbox Modchip
- Bios were trying to flash
Normally if you have flashed your modchip and it only has 1 x bank then you will have to buy a programmer to flash it again.
If you are lucky enough to have a xenium, xecuter etc etc modchips which have multiple bios banks you can just switch you modchip and flash again..
anyway, let us know more info.. We are all here to help.

If I softmoded my XBOX, would I then be able to boot up with a Bootable DVD and then flash my chip? Is that possible? Or would that screwup even more things?

If you can still boot your xbox with the modchip off yes.
But i have never done a softmod myself so i cant help.
maybe try asking again in the forums.. You know now that you modchip needs to be flashed so hopefully another member may have some more suggestions..
