For those of you who saw this post in softmod I apologize, I just thought, who better to ask than you.
I softmodded my buddies xbox and put a 160G in it. I loaded the Eeprom and all went well for him, got his working great. Only problem is when I plugged mine back in it didn't work. I got a Error 16! I am able to read the Evox disk I first made a while ago, however it won't allow me to FTP. Also it won't read my AID disk.
When I boot the Evox disk and look under settings it states "HD unlock error"
This doesn't make sense to me since I obviously locked both my buddies HD and my HD when I turned off my box. I have Evox 39.. whatever the newest one on AID was. but was using Unleash X as my dash. Loki77 informed me that I was have a problem with my dash, so asuming thats the issue I need help on where to go from here. I don't mind buying a new hard drive, but that would be a major pain, and hard to explain to the wife....Yeah i know....I answer to my wife... yeah I know _________________ XBOX v1.3:

It looks like you didn't reload your EEPROM. From your post you loaded your buddies EEPROM onto your machine and fixed his upgraded hard drive, but I didn't see that you ever loaded your EEPROM back onto your machine. I would think that as soon as you put your EEPROM back then everything will be right as rain and you can use the money you saved and buy your wife something for half the price of a new hard drive and keep the rest of the money for yourself (50/50 rule).
I think we all answer to our wives and they answer to us (50/50 rule), unless of course you have a husband then it's the otherway around.
