well , it works off the harddrive ,

I d/l the iso off of newsgroups and they had ripped all but the english language from the disc and it is around 4.00 GB, it works w/o any problems.

I figured it would work off of HD..I was just commenting on the size of the file. Just another one that everyone has to go through a few hoops if they want to back up their copy to disk. I still have about 90GB of HD space on my machine, it was no big deal really. It backed up fine. Using X2 bios on a 1.0 version so all good.

if i remeber its like 4.3 gig if u take all the languages out... just leave english and english movies fits on a dvd 5 there actuly a tool out there that will rip it to the language u want without cuting movies etc...

Actually, I am not looking to burn it to a disk... I was just making a comment about the size of the game..that's all. But, that info will definitely help those who are looking to backup their games to disk

Has anyone had problems playing it on their softmodded xbox here?
A friend that I set up with the softmod autoinstaller deluxe 1.01 (m8+ bios, evox 3935 dash) cannot get the game to run from original media, and trying to copy it with dvd2xbox (0.6.3 and 0.6.6) or craxion4 is failing.
Would a different bios get him up and running with this game?

My friend's copy of the game that he backs up to his softmodded box doesn't boot either. He also has problems with midnight club dub edition. When he loads Chaos Theory the screen goes black and nothing happens. He eventually has to reboot the xbox. Dub edition will boot up, but locks up when you press start button to begin game.

We solved the problem by deleting the game from the harddrive, and then deletingthe cache files under E: drive. Then backup the game again to your harddrive, but make sure the xbox is unplugged from the network before you boot the game.
