I am trying to install a Aladdin Live modchip in a Xbox but none of the diagrams on Aladdins site match those of the Xbox I am working on. I was manufactured in June of 2002. The diagrams match until you get to the DO point and L2 on the bottom of the board. It barely resembles the diagram on the web site from there. Does anyone know if there is a version of a MB that is rare like this one. Any help would be great.

Hiya

I would not bother with L1 and L2, the D0 on the bottom is different for different versions. Just find the right diagram for your version xbox.

Use my versions detetcor tut in the Xbox SWF tutorials.

Aladdins with the newer 49LF020a sst sometimes do have trouble turning on in older version xbox's. The fix for this is solder a link from D0 to X on the chip
