Posted: Fri Mar 25, 2005 2:12 am Post subject: Cannot get Auto Installer to boot in Xbox
I have followed the instructions on how to burn the ISO file and have burnt it to a blank CD-RW and a DVD +R. Both would not boot when putting them into the DVD Drive of the Xbox. I put them in and do Off/On and get the Xbox green light lite up and flash and Xbox reboots and tries again. Any ideas.

So ohave you got your xbox modchip flashed?? You should already have flashed you modchip with a hacked bios so you can boot AUTO INSTALLERS etc..
If you have a softmod installed then you will have to speak with 'sjohn' or 'djb' about that.. i dont know much about softmodding.
anyway, if you xbox modchip is flashed say with the M8 Bios you should be able to boot the AIDeluxe no problems.
Also, Make sure you are burning only the .iso file and not the .rar file.
Apart from that.. I would suggest burning to DVD-R and NOT DVD+R as most xboxes have trouble with DVD+R.. Also you will have to find the right CDRW for your XBOX DVDROM.
