I used splinter cell to soft mod my box, now my question is
1. can uninstall what i just did?
2.if i unistall when i want to play xbl can i play it without getting banned?
i know its trouble but im willing to uninstall/reinstall when i have to...
but how do i uninstall?
my options are:
run mini linus
ude install
ude uninstall
backup
xbox information
configure pbl
c-restore
dashboards
what one would i pick to clear all this stuff off my xbox?

i dont know anything about softmoding but if you have to uninstall and reinstall everytime you want to play on xbl you should just get a modchip. most of them come with switches to enable and disable the chip so you can play on xbl. or play on xbc or xlink kai. _________________ [RIP Radio]

Plz can someone help, this is exactly what I did as well and I cant get my xbox live to work anymore now. I want this softmod gone! I went to delete the mod backup as well, but it said that deleting it could make it so that i wouldnt be able to restore my original xbox so i didnt do it.

WOOHOO I found the resolution to my problem and its actually quite easy. I realized that it was because Live couldnt find my XBox's IP, or someting to do with my IP was wrong, so I started the troubleshooter and this time, rather than just letting the troubleshooter tell me what was wrong, I went into settings, and found the IP Address, etc. settings. At the very bottom there was an option for Manual. I just changed this to Automatic and tried to connect again, and it worked
