I got the the above installer. However i dont know what media use to install Evox with it. I tried using a cd-rw. My Xbox loaded normaly not booting off the cd-rw. I can access the rest of the files using Avalaunch or DVD2XBOX, but when i try to launch the defualt.xbe it say its has an error on it. Im currently using a Xbox installed with by Slayer 2.5 and a Chameleon 1.3 chip.

thanx

It depends on what version your Xbox is, some of them don't even like CD-RWs. If CD-RWs fail the only other option would be a DVD-R or DVD-RW (please note the DVDs are - and not +).

yeah i go it going.

i didnt realise that you needed to make it an xISO so it would boot.

Now when i start the xbox it loads 3921 version ??

however when i start an app and then reboot L+R+back+start

it loads the 3935 version

if you could tell me where it saved the 3935 ill overwrite 3921 with boxplorer (that possible - i mean will that do the job or am i going to have to use a ftp program?)

thanx anyways

The CD will boot as 3921 as that is probably the build of the dash used on the CD. The installed version on your Xbox HDD should be 3935.

I used slayer 2.5 to install evox

so when i start the xbox it loads 3921

but when it soft reboots - no reseting, it loads 3935

exactly the same as the autoinstaller - in italian!!!!

im thinking about rewriting the ini so its in english then reinstalling cos i dont have a network connection to my xbox.

i'll be checking when i get home but is it possible that gogy's installer didnt overwrite my 3921 xbe and ini? or just one?

Possibly you have Evox installed in two places, either C and E, or C and F.

I think that installer should install it to C drive, so overwrite any others with this.
