hi,
hopefully i can get you started on this problem solving.
What i would suggest you do is this.
go to your pc:
1. Click on 'Start Menu' and the choose 'Run'
2. Now type 'cmd' or 'command' depending which windows you are running. (cmd for xp/nt/200 and command for older windows)
3. When the dos prompt pops up just type this 'ipconfig /all'
4. it will show all you nic cards and all there settings just like the example below:
just leave a reply post with these settings so we can see if your networks are conflicting with each other.. btw im no expect with wirelss even though i have setup plenty of times but i can certainly help with your normal network issues.

check the IP settings on your XBox m8.
You could be confusing the pc by plugging/unplugging the box.
Another tip to try is flushing your DNS Cache or renewing IP on pc b4 using the net.
To flush the cache.............
start..........run...........cmd.........
in the dos box type ipconfig /flushdns
and
ipconfig /renew (to renew the ip add)
Good luck

ok, this time i really found my fault, after looking over everything i noticed
the default gateway on the nic was the same as the router's ip, and i said, the nic has NOTHING to do with the router, so i removed it, also left the gateway blank on the evox, and now everything works...yay
