Ok, just used the aid, and have to say..it is awsome!!
One thing though, maybe next version offer an option to completely redo the system. ie. Format, prepare & install all. Maybe have it sub-menued with:
Install C boot (EvoX)
Install F Boot (EvoX)
Install C Boot (UnleashX)
Install F Boot (UnleashX)
Install C Boot (AvaLauch)
Install F Boot (AvaLaunch)
And so on...have the main screen specify this is a complete..will format, and install dash-emus-and apps.
What are others thoughts on this? As I said..just a suggestion, as this would make life easier. LOL

Man... I don't know. That sounds like a butt load of work and I have to admit, I rather enjoy it as it is...
BUT if it's targeted for the newbie, then yes, that would be cool. Pretty newbie friendly already.
I know one thing, if I had tried to build the auto installer.... there would only be one improvement anyone would ever ask of it.
Make it work..... _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

Shark,
Are you sure it would be a buttload of work? I'm thinking that it might just be a matter of lining up every command to install each program in succession, DJB has done all the dirty work by making each one work individually. It might just be a matter of making it run format, then run install os, then run "install all apps", then run "all emulators". In theory it sounds that way at least. Not sure how much more space it would take up, as it's pretty stuffed as it is.
All in all AID is one kickass program, i can't really think of anything else to add to it honestly. The only thing i'd want to add would be rom pack add-ons, but people are already working on those.
I'm sure DJB has some ideas up his sleeve that he'll reveal to us sometime. _________________ Brandon Cossette

Exactly! It's already set up for install all apps, install all emus..all you would have to is create a run command that formats, then installs your dash of choice, then hit those install all commands.
I'm pretty sure it would be enough, but the big question is..is there a demand for it..if no one "needs" that, then there really is no need for it..right? LOL.
Again, it was just a thought that came into my head as I was installing everything..and having to back track to the main menu to go to the next one...was just thinking it would be nice to just say Install All LOL
But I agree, the AID 1.01 is kickass! I love it. I have always used Slayers, but I think I may be throwing that disc away

Not a bad idea but there's a few things you have forgotten
* What if someone wants to keep E Drive and just format C, F and G?
* Where will I set it to install the apps and emulators, E, F, or G ?
Not meaning to be too blunt but I think you're being a little lazy, hehe.
I do have a few more tricks up my sleeve for the new version, however this "one-click install" business isn't one, as I think it would end up causing more confusion later on when ppl are trying to install apps etc.
I'll soon be putting up the new changelog for AID v2.0 just to show you all where abouts I'm at with it.
