I had a problem with the msdash on my 1.6 version, so I read your instructions on reinstalling it in your softmod package. It did not say I need to relock it. I found that after I read the PDF with autoinstaller. So I screwed up big time. Is there any way to fix this withou opening it, if not I have only had it a week so I will just exchange it. By the way your programs are very well done and I plan on donating in a couple of days. The only thing I did not like was no way to lock kids out of some important controls...

I Take it your box now just displays an error code instead of a dash?
Does it still play games?
sometimes softmods that go wrong
allow for games to be played still,
if it does then re do your softmod.
uninstall it and the re install it.

you will find that UnleashX has
features on the dash to lock kids
out of it...or you could leave it as it is..that'll work too.
if it doesn't play games still then
you need a chip.
if you have a freind with a chipped
xbox then get them to slip your HDD
into their xbox and lock it using tuts found on this site or any really.
