I need some help guys and gals,
I Have a gen 1 Ipod and Its hard drive crashed. I ordered a unformated replacment from ebay and have it all hooked up but I need to know how to partition it and install the ipod firm wear. I cant seam to find help on this anywere hopefully some one might have a good idea on how to start this. the old drive is dead so I can not recover any of the firm wear or drive settings from it.

Did you already open the ipod? If so, you probably can not take to an auth dealer. I would call apple to see if they can recommend anyting _________________ LED Rings $6 (doesnt include LEDs) LED ring pic
