I just got a Xbox delivered today and I have no idea who it is from. It came from Canada. Who ever shipped this really did a bad job too..
No packing/padding in the oversized box that was used. This box could have fit three or four machines in it!! This Xbox had to be really banged around. Plus the box is all smashed to hell since there was no padding to keep the box from being smashed when others were stacked onto it.
Whoever the carrier was (Purolator??) they just let the fu$king Xbox sit out in the rain!! Box Is frigging soaked, unusable again that's for sure.
Mental note to all those who are every going to ship your Xbox to anyone for service.
Try picking a box that is 4 inches larger around the Height, Width, and Length of your Xbox. When you can, ship your Xbox in the original Box and put that in another box that gives you about 2-3 inches. FedEX has the perfect box (17: X 17" X 7") for only $2.95
Also, write FRAGILE ELECTRONICS on the box if you want. That way, maybe the company will not leave out in the rain!!!!
I wasn't expecting any packages from Canada so this one has me somewhat baffled. I know Spiffiest Clown was sending me one.....but, dunno.

That kind of sucks for the person who shipped your their box, it's screwed now. But in actualality, it's pretty damn funny. People will have to learn the hard way I guess. _________________ XBOX v1.6c

Well, the Xbox isn't screwed... I haven't plugged it in yet. I need to make sure what i am doing before I power it up and run my initial tests.
The box that it was in was so drenched, it was what was ruined...not the Xbox. But then again...dont know till I fire it up. _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter

If no body claims it, can I act real stupid then have you send it to me?
I mean gee, ya know, I was just thinking to myself... where did I put that Xbox. I sure hope I didn't send it out by mail to someone by accident. Uh, has anyone seen my Xbox? Last noted in a real large box uh.... with sufficient postage to get it to say PA? (hehehe) _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

HA...
You forgot that it was from Canada...
You should have put the "EH" after your question.

Yo! RealMcCloy! Oops! I mean Yo! ModGod! I think I accidentally mailed you my Xbox from Canada, eh? What a hoser, eh? That's not water the box was soaked with, it was the Molsen inside... you know... your payment for modding the box, eh.
Ok, you knob, could you return it to me at my Virginia home, not the Canadian one, OK, eh?
Seriously though.... the Xbox I'm sending you... I'm looking for an appropriate box for it... the local UPS place here in town is pathetic and doesn't have a box for it. I'll get it out hopefully later this week! _________________ The World's Most Awesome Xbox 360 Room

FedEx sells the perfect box.
$2.95 it's 17" X 17" X 7". It's perfect. I have been using them exclusively.

Well, that's all fine and good for you city slickers, but there ain't no Fedex 'round these parts! We're so remote that not only can we not get cable, we can't even get satellite! HA! _________________ The World's Most Awesome Xbox 360 Room

It was spiffi's machine.
I let it sit for a day to dry out....lol. It's actually chipped and running fine. On it's way back to Canada already....
I have to get back up that way! Freinds of mine own an 80 acre Island in Ontario. I'm probably going to hack this lakes name, Minitaki sounds like (minnitocki)
It's very close to Camp Pickerel Arm or something like that. I haven't been there for years and years, so not sure if the camp is even there.
They bought the Island in the early 70's for 20K. No electricity, No plumbing, beautiful...no, extremely beautiful area. We used to go up every year when I was in school and spend the whole month of August there. We would go weeks without seeing another human being.
In the winter when the lakes freeze animals roam from island to island. One year when we came back there were claw marks from a bear trying to get it's way into a supply cabin.
I caught the largest walleyes there (16lb)...and the Northern Pike...damn..I thought I had an alligator on the line once...one latched onto my buddies thumb...bit the hell out of him!!
I spent some time up in Thunder Bay puking on the ferry... Ended up hooking up with a girl is Subury.
You haven't seen a sky until you spent a few august nights in northern Canda. The skies are so big, so clear! You can actually see the reflection of orbiting sattelites. To get where we needed to go, from Pittsburgh PA it was a 30 hour drive then 1 hour on boat.

Actually, none of the locals have figured out a way to run a cable all the way up to the satellite.

That guy ain't no Canadian! If you don't drive a dogsled from your igloo to Wal-Mart to buy blubber, how can you call yourself Canadian? He's a POSEUR! BTW, have you seen Sally's or Suzy's beaver? _________________ The World's Most Awesome Xbox 360 Room
