I purchased a xbox motherboard and hard drive off eBay because of problems I had with my current one. In the description the guy stated that there were some lose wires on the bottom of the motherboard and he didn't have enough solder.
When I finally received the motherboard i found a small PCB attached to it with no wires coming out of it and only one chip:
M4-A3-64/32-10vc-12vi
If it is a modchip could you please direct me to where I can get info on where to hook the wires up.

i cant find any info on it ,
if no one else can help out with it then get rid of it

After geting the last post about the homebrew chip I did some researching. It appears to be a Enigmah-X Final modchip (ModChip Generation 1). I have already removed the pcb because it would not allow me to install a different hard drive. Thanks for the help.

I find that it doesn't matter which chip you have, the points are lways the same. Three varieties of XB. >>>>>>>>>> 1.0 the ones in the middle and 1.6.
!.0 is slightly different from the others, but diagrams for all three are on www.aladdinlive.com/mod you simply can't go wrong. BT, L1 and D0. They will almost certainly work on your Mod.
