I have EvoX installed on my Xbox, and I am having trouble getting the PC-XBox connection to work.
I've set all the properties in the TCP/IP menu on my network connections on the PC, and I am having problems getting the Xbox dashboard to 'save' it's settings. I can't get into it from my PC as FlashFXP times out or refuses a connection. This is getting really frustrating as I have no idea what to do. I've read through a few tutorials that all say the same thing. I read through another forum where a person had a similar problem but its a little above my head how to get into dos (WinXP user).
Thanks

ok... Have you connected to your XBOX already using your current setup and cables??
If you have then its just a evox.ini config issues...
I would personally get a copy of evox and burn it to dvd/CDRW after you have setup your network settings in the .ini file..
After you burn it just boot it in your xbox and it will activate your ftp again for you but this time it will be running of the DVDROM DRIVE..
When you boot of the cdrw/dvd-r you can ftp like normal..

One thing i forgot to say was:
When you are going into your xbox settings using your xbox joypad and choosing 'system settings' are you choosing SAVE AND EXIT.. when you have setup your network.?
