I've got a couple xboxs that im currently working on, one mine and one my friends. I got the AI working on an 80gb seagate hd, however i can't get it to work on two western digitals. One of which is 120gb and the other is 200gb.

On the non working xbox:
xecuter 2.3b lite
xecuter 4983.67 bios
^ this is the one where the 120 is going.

on my working xbox:
xecuter 2.6
xecuter 4983.67 bios
^200gb goes here

So, what happens on the working where i would like to put the 200gb is that it wont read the AI cd and gives me the error page with error code 21, but it will read it with the 80gb seagate. Then the other has slayers stuff on it already but id like some upgrades and it just boots to evox and doesnt give me the AI.
Any ideas?

strange. The only reports of the AID not working is when you are trying to install a new hdd and its not partitioned and formated..

THE REASON:
My intro caches music to the xbox hdd so it can play smoothly.
Not a good idea when you want to rip out a hdd and install a new one..
THE AI just wont boot.. (dam im stupid..)

Anyway, Have you tried extracting the .iso onto your pc and removing the INTRO from the autoinstaller.. I believe this is why it doesnt boot correctly.. If you havent tried it i would definately recommend it.

Try extracting the aid10.iso to your pc hdd.. Then delete the 'default.xbe' file which is the intro i coded.. Then all you need to do is rename 'install.xbe' to 'default.xbe' and remake a XISO of the whole folder again..

Use SimpleXISO,. Qwix or cXboxTool to make a iso..

then burn it to DVD-R/CDRW liken ormal.. Hopefully this will fix the booting probs.

l8r mate and have a great new year.
