I installed my Aladdin Live chip on my 1.6 xbox. When I boot up with the chip, it shows the default msdash. However, for some reason, my controller doesn't work.

When I remove the chip from the pin header, my xbox boots up fine and the controller works like it's supposed to. I know I'm supposed to hold down the power button for two seconds to enable the chip, but no matter how long or short I hold it down, it always comes up the same default screen with non functioning controller.

Don't know if anyone has seen this problem before so just throwing it out there to see if I can get some help.

btw, D0 is not grounded...it is connected to the chip

heya, do you have L1 and L2 and BT soldered?

where is BT soldered to?

I have L1 and BT Soldered, did not solder L2. BT is soldered according to the aladdinlive.com site. Here is a link to the picture there http://www.nordicimport.com/images/16installed.JPG
