Figured people here would be interested to know the Emu Installer family has received its latest member. Emu Installer V3.1

As you can see my retirement was short lived. What can I say I love the XBOX Very Happy

License
The various emulators, ROMs and media content remain the property of the creators and are governed by various retail and GPL licenses, music included remains
the property of the various artists and is used legaly under Canada's Billc-32 also many of the bands have publicly supported the free filesharing of their work.
The installer program, HDD temp extraction directory, VIA HDD and command script are governed by the SPPV license terms as follows:
Free to use, Free to edit if credit given. You try to sell it I KILL YOU (just kidding but you get the idea). This is given freely by me and the various other devs and under no
circumstances shall the work here in, the code etc be charged for. EVER.

What is Emu Installer?
Its a program based on modified Ux code to install various emulators, ROMs and Xtras to your HDD with 1 click. Its also a rescue disc in the event your dash
gets screwed, this can be poped in to give you filemanager and FTP access to your XBOX.

Whats different about Emu Installer from other Ux based discs?
Emu Installer has the perk of being able to detect whether its on disc or HDD and run from either with 0 editing or changes required. It also has its very own temp
directory so when ran from HDD the archive file size to be extracted is not limited to the free space available on Z partition and works faster because its temp directory
is on the same partition/file location. Via disc is slower because it still uses Z and needs to periodicaly clear it when extracting files that exceed 749MB

Whats in this release?
XBOX Live Arcade
XRaine v0.51.9+ROMs
CPX3 v1.0a+ROMs
Chip8x v5+ROMS+Xtras
BlueMSXbox v8+ROMs+Xtras
Vice64 v9+ROMs
ArnoldX v5+ROMs
SoftVMUx v3 +Xtras+ROMs
WinUAEX v18+ROMs+Xtras
PokemonMiniX v3 +Xtras+ROMs
NeoPopx v6 +Xtras+ROMs
BlissX v10+Xtras+ROMs
OdysseyX v3+Xtras+ROMs
SupervisionX v4+Xtras+ROMs
WonderswanX V5+Xtras+ROMs

How do I use it?
1)Via Disc: Burn the XISO to DVD-r at 8x with Imgburn (I only recomend Imgburn and Rite-k manufatured discs)
Pop it in your XBOX and run it (your dash depending on settings may automaticaly run it with no user input)
When it loads click on Emu Installer V3.1, choose the partition you wish to install to and click on the emulators you want. Or hit Install All to install everything.
E partition does not support Install All as the extracted size of the files exceeds the size of E by a few GB's

2)Via HDD: Extract the XISO using CXBOX-Tools and FTP the V3.1 folder to the apps folder on F partition. Reboot the XBOX and run it like any other app. Then simply
proceed like above. Via HDD has the perk of being about 10-15 minutes faster than disc to install everything. And of course you dont have to spend money on a disc
and its always there so you can pick and choose over time without having to pop a disc in. And for people running Evox, Ava or XBMC can double as a Ux dash as app.

Troubleshooting:
If it errors while installing check the following:
1)That you have the free space for it (apx 7GB is required to install everything)
2)Check your media, many low-grade brand of disc just suck for stuff like this
3)Check what speed you burned at. Above 8x can cause data degradation

If it turns out to be a media issue this can be fixed by either buying a quality disc or by using it via HDD

If you dont see Xtras:
Make sure to check the defaut directories in your emulator(its in Configuration). By default they will look to E:\Emulators\Emulator name\Media so if you installed to F or G partition
you will need to change that to see the Xtras. Dont worry its easy and only take a couple of seconds.

Credits:
Madmab for updating/work on most of the emulators
X-Port for originaly porting many of the emulators
A600 for porting Xraine
Bigby for putting together the MSX/Amiga ROMs and Xtras included and work on the Xtras project
Waal for putting together the MSX/Amiga Roms and Xtras included work on the Xtras project
RessurectionX for work on much of the included Xtras
UnleashX for making UnleashX
NeoBomb for hosting and work on Xtras
Perr for hosting and work on Xtras
Wimpy for hosting and work on Xtras
Forahobby for hosting
Gilou9999 for making many of the emulator skins
Neil22 for making many of the emulator skins
DW5304 for hosting
Tristania for soundtrack
Epica for soundtrack
Tales of Dark for soundtrack
Demonoid for soundtrack
After Forever for soundtrack
Wesker/http://nebula.emulatronia.com/elsemi for CPX3

480i
Install

End Result

And once DW5304 gets the new USA VIP Server up it will be available there as well

What kinda trouble? Should be able to get an account no issue. There isnt really any other option for download. Theres no direct hosting site I can use. Places like Mediafire will delete it cause its got emus/modding app (they just nuked XBMC Installer and PCSXBOX Redux), I wont use skydrive cause that would require me to hand out my email address to everyone who wants to download it. And I stopped doing release via public torrent a while back cause nobody sticks around to help seed, just hit and run. I cant do it direct here caue Id have to delete a bunch of other downloads to make room so really FTP is the only viable option

I've signed up for two accounts with two different email accounts and I have yet to receive a validation email for either of them. :\ Once I get the account, I realize that I'm supposed to send a PM to Wimpy to get access to the FTP server. I'll totally do that, but first I need an account. >_< Would it be possible to upload to theisozone.com like you did your other two releases?

PM me the username you picked and email you used and I'll talk to Wimpy

@Hobbs
Ive got maybe 200mb space on the site FTP. This is probably to big for our direct download. 3 and 3.1 are 4.35GB a piece. Oh and this uses a hex edited UnleashX xbe instead of Evox. Thats how I got it to automaticaly use the proper config for file location and knows to use the VIA HDD config instead of the D drive config thats in the directory root. Same with using the Extract directory for temp instead of Z. All via XBE Very Happy

That would be awsome Hobbs. You know me I like to give the stuff away to everybody so I usualy point em to my folder over at Xtras. Getting some of my installers up direct here will be great. I got Mediafire straightened out, they apologised for deleteing my fies an admitted it was a bug and my stuff violates no copyright so I can start using that as a place for people as well to
