Is it possible to use trainers from the UnleashX dashboard?
If not, is it possible to launch ExoX with arguments like an exe file by using a UX batchfile? Im trying to put together a childproof x-box and UX is the mack for the way it looks, user friendlyness, and password protection. I have EvoX installed, but it is listed in the main menu instead of being a boot option, and in the list its pwd protected. Im trying to keep the end-user from having to enter the EvoX dash as much as possible.

Thanks again for all of your help guys!

I've been wanting to try UnleashX but I've been just kind of hanging on installing it. Not sure why. I don't know if the auto installer deluxe 1.0 is going to include that dash or not. I think that's what I was waiting for but who the hell knows. Confused

Hiya

If it was me I would just use evox and take out all the options from the menu that could be dodgy such as system utils and apps etc, just have games and trainers, nothing else.

Maybe a link to UX for you to admin stuff.

Thats a pretty good idea modz.
I read about disableing the potentially harmful features in Evox.
I dont quite remember what it was that one has to put before the option to make it not appear.... I think it was an "*" I dunno, or really, I dont remember Cool
I want to use UX as the main dash because it looks pretty, thats pretty much it, its eyecandy. Its also very user friendly and seems to get better and better with every build. The new settings menu that was added to the last release was the poop. Its awsome how easy it is to change screen size now!

Ill keep UX as the main dash and have a link to a dumbed down version of Evox. When Im done Im turning this box over to somone who isnt very comupter savy, so Im trying to make it as user friendly as possible.

If rearranged the UX menu and put potentially harmful items behind the settings menu and have that pwd protected. I also have the teext editor protected in case his kids get smart and try to change the pwd from there.

I have another question concerning the UX .xml file. But I feel it would deserve another thread so that others can find their answers easier, should they have the same question...

Thanks for the great idea modz... and if you could let me know what I need to put before the command to disable it Razz

And shark.... dont hate! take UX for a spin, youll love it, especially with a pimp skin! My favorite skin is the animated cold steel. FTP that SOB to your apps folder so that you dont have to go through the painful process of making a XISO or new bios.
