Clean the lens and try different types of DVDs.

Hopefully with a clean you will get one of those drives working again!

The Samsung reads burnt cds with no problem at all, but it will not read games? it says that the drive is empty! It does spin the game but it will not read it, but it will read some cds that are scratched pretty badly. It will not even read a dvd disk cleaner so I can not clean it with that??? Why would it not read games if it is a xbox dvd drive??

The cleaning disks with brushes just beat up the lens and do more harm then good, pop the top off and clean it with a Q-tip and one drop (on the tip not the lens) of alcohol.
Are the games stock or ones you burnt?

They are regular xbox games. already tried cleaning the drive with the q-tip and alcohol but nothing, as far as the games go, however it does read cd's a little better.
