So I just picked up another xbox which I softmodded and plan on giving it to my brother as a Christmas present. My xbox's ftp connection to my pc works fine. But my question is, how do I set up my brother's future xbox for ftp access? I tried the same thing I did to set mine up, but flashfxp can't access it. My problem probably lies in the ip configuration. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Are you running them on a router?

nope, i'm connecting them with a crossover cable. I don't need them plugged in at the same time; I'd just like to be able to FTP to both of them when I need to. MY xbox's IP is 192.168.1.5 and Default gateway 192.168.0.1. What should I set the other one to? Also, should I make any changes in network connections on my pc?

Your Xbox IP must always be in the same range as the PC for communication to work.

What is the IP of the PC? I suspect if you have a default gateway of 192.168.0.1 then your PC will be 192.168.0.xx

If this is the case this would explain why your Xbox and PC are not talking. So, for example, if your PC is:
192.168.0.10
Xbox could be: 192.168.0.100

If PC is: 192.168.50.30
Xbox could be: 192.168.50.40

Try changing the IP to a matching range and try again. Let us know how it goes.
