Alright, now that everything is up and running a was wondering if I would be able to plug a wireless adapter into my xbox. Right now I have a tv and my xbox just sitting in my computer room and I don't want to worry about wires. Is there anything any one could suggest?
Would I have to be connected to a laptop, because that wont work for me. What about a network extender? Does anyone know if those are any good, and where I could find a cheap one?

Wes, that looks very interesting and a very cheap option.
It is powered by a usb socket so no need for mains, great, but how do you connect it to your xbox as it only has a usb? _________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.

Keep in mind any time you go wireless you wont be able to run xlink kai unless you get one that supports promiscuous mode.

That's a shame, the other one looked good.
The gaming adapter is a bit pricey. I use a wireless router on my xbox, but have to disconnect my pc from the internet to connect to the xbox when i transfer files. My setup will have to do, can't justify spending £50 for that. _________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.

I've seen that before with the internal card, that's good.
Question. Can you use 2 wireless cards on a pc simultaneously?
This would be my cheap option. I could have 1 wireless card connected to the internet and the other wireless card connected to the xbox at the same time. _________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.

im pretty sure you should be able to, just have to set one up to be ad-hoc and it should work. the computer will take it as two different connections.
