This may just be a stupid question but hear me out.
I ordered the Xecuter 2.6 Lite modchip for my xbox. I have a v1.3. and the install wen smoothly. I was welcomed by the flashbios screen and then proceeded to attempt to flash my bios.
This is when it gets ugly.
I tried flashing by chip with a 1 meg version of Evox wihtout realizing the chip has 2 512 k banks, you guessed it, FRAG.
So i order this nifty lil programmer for 29.90 ( i was in a hurry so the shipping hurt) and viola it works. The chip is being reconized and i am able to read, write and test it.
So i buy a VIP membership to this site so i can aquire a version of the new M8PLus evox bios. D/L'ed the bios, used the X2 Bios manager to attempt to reflash the bios. It works, yet you guessed ti FRAG.
The 1 meg evox bios frags, as well as the 256k bios. Can anyone give me a pinhole of insight as to why this chip loves to frustrate me. I thank everyone who replies for their time.
I think the EvoX m8 bios only works on a v1.6 box fella.......as you've got a v1.3 i'd try the X2.4983.06 bios and you shouldn't have any probs.
You can download the bios pack in the V.I.P downloads section ....its got nearly every bios known to man in it
