I need to re-do my xbox hard drive but I dont want to lose all my Zsnes game save files. Can anyone tell me if its possible to save them and re-add them after I finish re-formatting the the drive?

Hey man don't double post. Everyone will see your first one. Erase one of them please.
You can save them in ISO form if you have Qwix101 and an ethernet cable to hook up to your PC. _________________

Your fine man i took care of the dub post for you.
If all you want to keep is the save files then just FTP your Udata to your PC make the changes to the HDD of your xbox and FTP the Udata back to your xbox.
Udata folder will be in the E drive.
Good luck and welcome to the HQ man, we hope you enjoy the site.

Its softmodded via a hotswap and xboxhdm. I have EvoX on it now as a dash and used AID Lite to install all my programs. But I hate EvoX. I'm going to re-do the drive via the Splinter Cell exploit and install UnleashX or xbmc as my dash. Just dont wanna lose anything

Just get aid 4.20 and use the softmod dash installer to change the dash, you should keep all info and over wright the old dash with the new one.

I would have done that if the drive wasnt so slow and laggy. It just needed to be reformatted. I did what you said with the UDATA and it didnt work. I saved it from my old setup and FTP'd it back after the reformat and nothing.

You needed to ftp the zsnes emu folder over to your pc. The saves are stored in the emu's folder not on the udata...so your screwed. If I would have came sooner I may have saved you. _________________
