Hello, can someone tell me if it is possible to have a modded xbox installed on a car, and if anyone had done this please tell me what is needed to complete this task. plus since my xbox won't be conected to my server once in the car, what can I do to take my music and video files to the car.
Please help.
Thank you. _________________ Kacike61

well I have a in-dash dvd receiver with av inputs, so I was wondering if a modded xbox can be aded to the mix, I guess I will need a power inverter and some hardrive upgrades, to transfer my files. Is not for gamin just for music and video.
Again if anyone has done please let me know. _________________ Kacike61

Putting it in your car wold be ez just adding info to its hdd wold be the hard part.

For the hdd, I wouldn't go anything over 500gb, because the partitions seem easily corruptible on anything larger. I always use a modchip for hdd installs, and it partitions itself, but I can't really speak on the softmod side of things.
Another thing to take into consideration is the way you mount your hdd. Mounting it the traditional, horizontal way (=), may cause the platters to vibrate and collide with each other. So try to mount it vertical (||) if possible.
check out mp3car.com for some helpful hints. A lot of good info there.
As for transferring media, you could get a wireless network dongle, or you could rip stuff to blank media, or you could install removable drive bay and just tote your hdd inside to load it up.
I had my xbox powered by a converter when I had it in my car. Never had any problems until my car was stolen. _________________

impwiz has the right idea go with a chip since the soft mods clock can reset and be an over all bitch.
Get a lot of guys asking about error 16(i think) from softmod clock getting reset from power loss.
You can run 500gb and bigger if you use 32k clusters when you partition the hdd.
But imp is right it will go better with around 300gb so you dont need to think about drive size.

Hi guys,
In my car i have a modded xbox.. It runs Xbox Media Center and has a random autoplaylist on boot. Here's a link to some piccys:

Here's a link to the forum topic i started about it. Link: Forum Topic
It's not hard to setup mate.. You just need to learn about your xbox1 first.. Then you can install a invertor for your car and your ready to go. Very simple.
