I was trying to install an xbit on a v1.0-1.1 board and now my xbox is frag, is there a way to bypass this or fix my xbox without going out and purchasing a new one? whats the best non solder and easy to install modchip for xbox ?

its hard to determine why the xbox is fraggin
u might have demaged something on the board or u didnt install the
chip correctly ,
but xenium ice with solderless adapter is really easy to install
on boxes 1.2 to 1.4 , no soldering required at all ,
for 1.0 to 1.1 you have to solder in the pinheader or take out the solder
out of lpc holes to use the solderless adapter but thats more difficult then just soldering in the pinheader _________________ Xbox v1.0/1.1/1.5/1.6a

Another place that is good is www.llama.com. They have motherboard/hdd combo's for $79. I just installed one inside an empty $5 XBox case I bought at a flea market. Works like a champ.
