Last week my HDD stopped working so I took my old stock HDD put it in stuck my AID disc into the disc drive started my chips OS and booted the bios, AID started up and I formatted the HDD. Now that I got a new HDD, same one as the one that just went up, I put the HDD in stuck the AID disc in the drive turned off the XBOX started my chips OS booted the BIOS and I keep getting the error code 07? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Thanks,
Chad

HDD time out error, try checking the ide cable and make sure its all the way in and you dont have bent pins.
Swap out the ide cable if you cant get it to work.
Make sure the hdd select is set to master.

tried that, still cant get it to work. I know the disc works because I just used it to format my old stock drive until I could get this one. Anyone here have a BIOS they could send me that I could try, Im using a Xenium Gold chip, if that matters. Thanks in advance.

You can get a bios from x-bins or from the aid disc, just unpack the iso and you should find it in there.

Yes the stock drive still works I just reformatted it and put XBMC on it a couple of days ago, and it works if I put it in, XBMC will boot right up

Im starting to think that the problem is the new HDD, I took it out and put in my old stock one with XBMC on it and I turned it on and it went straight into AID after which I took another old drive that I knew wasn't working and got the same result I got with the new one. Needless to say I am more than a little pissed off. Back to Wal-Mart to return
