Here are some pics of my first mod. Took me a while between work and figuring everything out for the first time. It's not much, but it's my pride and joy.

If anyone can tell me how to get them to show up instead of having a link that would be great. Better to just view than click and back up everytime.

It's actually primer, not white. A very soft grey. Funny you say that though. My next one is going to be white and some other color. Haven't decided on blue or red. Thanks for checking it out. How can I just post the pics instead of URLs?

Thanks guys. I thought real hard about the color scheme. Had green LEDs at first, but it didn't look good to me. Thanks to everyone for their help along the way, but Honestly, I owe it all to you Wes. If it wasn't for you taking time and patience to help a lost soul out, I wouldn't have made it this far.
Thanks Guys!

Looks really good man and I see you were able to add them into the post in the "Add your case mods people" thread too, so thats cool.
It really is a nice job. I'm not a fan of white Xbox's, especially when they are with blue or red etc, just ruins the look of it, but this soft grey one you've done with the textured X and lights is truely wonderful. Especially as you say it's your first one.

I still have a Halo Edition v.1.6 that I going to go the green route with. You know what I'm talking about. It might look similar to yours. I like the smooth soft lights, instead of the lights so bright you can't see the tv like you said. The jewel turned out fine. It could have been a tad bit brighter, but I'll get everything right with time. Do you have white cathodes or green?

Are you lighting your jewel via cathode kit like mine, or via led's?
I used 8 3mm LEDs at 5000mcd. The cathodes are way too bright for my taste. I would only go cathode, if I were to keep the original black case and just want light to shine through the openings. Even though, I am getting a tad bit of light through my sides already, but nothing big.

Aaahh, you see I have the black case (with skin) and I use a cold cathode ring underneath my UT jewel. Definitely bright, but then again, I wanted people to see it, thats why I put it in, lol.
Don't get me wrong, it's clearly visible. I just see some of the mods on here that are so bright they distort the picture. I have a firm belief that less is more sometimes. Like Wes told me, some of them are so bright you can't have them in front of the tv when you're playing. Who wants to have to hide it?
