Ok i posted this about maybe a month or 2 ago about how my Hard drive kept frezing and making noises so finally i got a 400gb HD like a month ago and i partition the HD and everything but when i go to play any of my games on my HD it plays for a little than it freezes. I am not using any trainers on the games and i thought it might be a problem cause dvd2xbox might have burned a scratched game but that wasnt the case either cause i tried it on a new game. I cleared the cache from x,y,z still didnt work so now im trying to wonder wat it is?
I have a 1.4 Modded xbox with Smartxx v3 Chip using Xbmc as the Dash and a Samsung 400GB HD.

Need to clear the main cache in the E drive to man.
Try running the disc to see if it will do the same thing as playing from the hdd.

the cache files are stored on the E drive. Try deleting the whole folder
E:\CACHE
reboot to the M$ dash and the folder will be recreated. Try from then on

if the cd runs OK you will need to re rip the game to the HDD. What app are you using to rip games to the HDD?

What size are your F and G drive and you might want to clean the dvd lens and try running a disc.

this is usually the cache files.
as i said, delete the whole folder
E:\CACHE
this will delete all the files inside too. Reboot to the M$ dash and the folder will be re created. Try again after this. Make sure you have the latest version of DVD2XBOX too.
