Soarer,
After looking at Team Xecuter's site I see they are working on a solderless adapter for the X3 but as of yet they are not available. I just installed a soldered in X3 and it took less than an hour to do it. This was my first mod and my soldering skills are limited. Plus at almost 50 my eyesite is not what it was when I was 20... ...
I got mine at modchipman.com. Paid the norm and had it in 2 days. _________________ GTGene

The X3 that I installed was on a 1.6 machine. It had a few more wires than the Xenium Ice. Also, it has all of the extra wiring harnesses for the external switches and lights.
I just got some more SmartXX Chips and will be installing those on the 1.6 as well. I wanted to try out those new LPC Rebuild PCB's.
