I could of sworn I saw a post where someone said Surreal 1.0 work far better than the recent version. Am I going crazy or was there really a post??
In any event, I know someone did and I curious to speak to the person _________________ With knowledge, comes great power.

I didn't post it but surreal 1.0 does work better in alot of ways compared to the others but it also pales in comparison to newer versions in other ways. So the choice is really up to you. I personally use the newest one but until then I did use v1.0. _________________

FYI, didn't find the specific post, but I did find something better.
Thraxen speaks of the pros & cons of the Surreal versions
PS - Wes/DJB, A person searching for emulator specific info is going to have a hell of time find info by NOT having emulator specific threads, seeing that this thread doesn't have any title reference to Surreal _________________ With knowledge, comes great power.

Really? Sorry , I didn't know that. I'll stop. I do have some remarks, but I'll keep them to myself. _________________ With knowledge, comes great power.

n e 1 know of a dreamcast emulator???
I ran across this Dreamcast emu at http://www.eurasia.nu/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=getit&lid=4585 called SoftVMUX v2. I'll test it later if I can find a ROM to test it with. Looks like alot of new emu versions were released on EurAsia on 11-15-2007 _________________

This subject has been spoken about soo many times, I can't believe it.
I recall reading several postings on why it coulnd't be done for the XBOX. Of course all emulators are ports from emulators made for PC. There isn't much interest to do a port for the Saturn. I chased after this about 1 yr ago while I was trying to get an emulator to play a rom of Shinning Force III (it's a RPG).
The version I used at the time was 'SSF 008 alpha R9'. Even using this the speed was slow. Graphics were good, but the graphics still couldn't be matched. Do a google for it and see for yourself. I am not sure if another version has been posted since.
GL, and please if you want to play DC games, spend some money and get it. _________________ With knowledge, comes great power.

I was on a dev site and they said there was work bein done for a DS emu for PC. I believe it would actually be very feasible to run it on a PC if they can get the mouse to act as the stylus. It will prolly be a while b4 the emu ever sees the light of day but I thought it was promising to see that they were at least workin on it.
The emulator not only runs your GBA roms, but also your DS files.
I haven't tried a DS game, but I can now use this emulator for two systems rather than just one.
NOTE: There is a gameboy emulator for the PC called Rascal that plays only GBA roms.[/url] _________________ With knowledge, comes great power.
