Hi i have run sid5 using the mechassault save everything seemed to go fine but when it rebooted it was as if nothing had happend but i do have an unleashX xbox launcher save on my c:drive (Have i completed the intall properly) Please help thanks

Is your xbox displaying anything?

hi no i dont recieve any error messages at all all my original games still work i used the dual boot softmod i followed the tutorial on installing softmod using sid5 which was posted on this site by DJB this is my first time trying a softmod any help will be greatly recieved if u could tell me exactly what info u need i will try to do my best to find it thank u 4 trying to help a total newbie

Have you tryed booting it up by holding the eject button to turn it on?
If all fails you can try the install again.
What game did you use?
was it a platnum game?
what type of memm card are you useing?
When you was running the sid installer did you backup and save the ms dash and eeprom?

Did yiu read the SID manual? I would highly recomend you do that when you softmod. _________________

Good questions wes.
Since your games still work, load the game you used for the softmod.
Restore your original dash so at least you can boot your xbox. Make sure that only the gamesaves for the softmod are loaded onto the hdd.
(note- you can have other gamesaves for other games, but for the particular games you are using for the exploit, there should only the two.)
Follow the steps in the softmod tut and you will do just fine.
