Just unplug the yellow cords that go to the motherboard, unscrew the screws with the torx 10, then switch their spots. Screw them into their new spots, plug the yellow cord back into the motherboard and your set. _________________

My xbox crystal does not use torx 20 screws...
this is a tad annoying, i only have torx 10 and 20 screwdrivers
EDIT: strange, dont know how i did it but i actually have torx 10 and 15 screwdrivers. thing is, they worked at taking apart a normal black xbox before

Just a reminder that you can order a controller port from a number of diffrent sites if you wish to replace the bad one eventually. Even Ebay has one or two for sale.
