Hey everyone. I am using Xboxhdm 1.9 to upgrade a different xbox of mine. The new HD is compatible, same as the last. The disc works great, I can do everything I want to it, lock and unlock also. My problem is the dreaded error 6 code, and I noticed that it is not generating an HDD Key.
I know the eeprom is on the disk, it tells me what version, NTSC, etc. But, the HDD key always shows up in Zeros. Anyone know of a solution??? THanks.

You were right, had the wrong eeprom. Went back and fixed that, but here's a new one. or two.
When I put the old HD back into the xbox, it is now giving me an error 16. I understand that it's the clock, but I seem to be reading somewhere that I might be out of luck.
I did get the new HD up and loaded with the appropriate things, now it's ready to go.
I put it in my xbox, the big X comes on the screen, and microsoft on the bottom(telling me that it unlocks) and that's it. At that point, it stays there, even when I put in an Xbox game, the Aid disc, anything. Could it be because of the error 16, and is there any solution to fixing this, or do I need to just go get another used one, and start over?
THanks.......

I'm guessing maybe the m$dash on the xboxhdm disc may be corrupt or didn't build the hdd right.
See if making another xboxhdm disc will work. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

You may have to install a mod chip to fix it. I dont really know much about chips, but I do know you'll be able to get everything up and running with one. _________________
