hey guys....doin my first case mod...figured id let u guys in on it...welcome to any hints, tips, or things im doin/done wrong....all comments welcom....I have one question though....I got some hot glue on the bottom of the jewel while i was putting it back on...any ideas on how to get the glue off w/o scratching the jewel? pics below

Use a chemical solevent. Gassoline works well but you need to make sure you get it off right away since it will eventually eat the plastic. _________________

i used nail polish remover it will make it haze over but i buffed that out with tooth paist and stainless steel cleaner on a rag.

paint thinner, goo gone, possibly rubbing alcohol.... stuff like that. Anything that will break down the glue. _________________

hey guys the tips really helped...got the jewel pretty clear....i decided not to use the painted case u saw earlier..instead i stuck with the original and the only lights i had layin around were these 12v 6in purple neon tubes....the one under the jewel was pretty much forced but it works and doesnt look that bad...not a big fan of purple but whatever heres some pics lol
