i done a softmodd it went well so i decided i want a new dash so i put the uto installer disc and it messed my xbox up and i got error 21 so i decided to do a hotswap, so i did but pc picked the xbox hdd up but the xplorer 360 didnt, i tryed it a few more times still xplorer didnt pick it up so i turned it off now i get a error code 09.
i have the original eprom saved on my pc,
how can i get xbox back to normal?

ok i have downloaded xboxhdm 1.9 and made a boot disc with my eprom
but now what do i do,
do i put the same xbox hdd inside my pc
if so
how do i now if its unlocked, does it matter?

Ok put your HDD on computer and use the disk to unlock it then format with the same disk then rebuild it and lock it with the eeprom .........
put it back in the Xbox and all should be good..
Then all you will need to do is Softmod again..

It's worth a go if not just get a HDD that can be locked and build a new one....
The good thing is that you have your eeprom......

with error 9 pc dont pick up the hdd so u cant hotswap
lucky i had the eeprom
i had to replace the hdd
am all back and running now just installed the softmod again

and replace the xbox hdd
