My vote...FTP. AID is awesom, don't get me wrong (its saved my butt more times than I'd like to admit!)...but its great to learn how to do things on your own as well.
You want to make XBMC the default dash? Do you have a dashboard folder on the E If you just want it to be a regular app, just chuck it under the apps folder on the E: or F: and it should recognize it like you said (as long as your dash is look for apps under the same location that you put XBMC)
I like PiMPED version of XBMC, you can get it here...

i think i got it.
i dont want it as default dash, just an app.
so ill just ftp it to like f/apps.
what exactly does aid do anyway?
and that pimped skin looks cool.
how do i apply it? do i put it with xbmc before ftping it or do i do it after?

Yeah just putit in the skins folder in the XBMC folder and AID stands for AUTO Installer Deluxe and you can boot it and install anything on it. Like apps, Emulators and dashboards. it is the S$%T.

you would use a DVD R. Its just a little too big to be put on a CD. Ummmm as for your tommy drive it should read it i got one here and it plays just fine with my backed up games and aid and homebrew games. _________________

get dvd decrypter....it'll be in the pc essentials part of AID download.....and when you use it just select your iso and click burn.... _________________

You may have to change the mode first. It is at the top of Dvddecypter and you have to change it to iso write.
Here is a link to DVDDecrypter.

Rather then start a new topic, i though it would just hijack this one.
Heres my predicament.
I got the Splinter Cell saves needed to do a softmod from xbins
I copied them to C/Program Files/Datel/Action Replay/Saves
They are in the same format (rar) as all the other saves
i open up that saves folder and i see them in there
But when i open up the program i need to put files on the action replay, it does not see the saves.
I have tried renaming and deleting and recopying and everything, it just wont see them.
What is the problem here, does anyone know?
