Hi all,

i really need help here...

I recently got a new xbox (i think 1.6b but may be 1.6) i have the 3ce chip and 1.6 solderless adapter.

Now the adpater has been installed and the leds all light up on it, the chip has been installed and shows blue leds, the switch on the front on the xbox where you can choose which memory bank shows as red and when plugged into a tv just boots to the MS dash and does not show the flash bios screen to load a bios....

I am not sure where i have gone wrong or what i do now...the diagram i am following is:

when i take the chip off the adapter and turn on the xbox, the adater shows five lit lights....blue, green, yello, orange, red...5 lights for 5 wires if all the lights are light does this mean the gold wires are plugged in ok?

Can anybody help, need to get this done as a xmas present

I assume becuase the chip lights blue and that all the lights are on the adpater are lit means they are physicaly ok?

You should take a look at the Xecuter internet support, considering you only have a few days, they may give you the help you need faster than we Idea

But lets see what other members say about your problem

On the 1.6 the power button can be a little sensitive, to power up w/ chip enabled tap the power button quickly. If you hold it for more than 1/2 second it will boot w/ chip disabled.
Have you installed the D0 HDD LAN wires, the power/eject assy?
