You can only do this with a modchip (as far as i'm aware). If you have a modchip, i'll post more info later. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."
sorry, i meant to say that the X logo can only be changed if you have a modchip. As far as making skins, the above mentioned tut is just great. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."

I have an X3 chip- and I've seen the color/animation selections in the chips load screen, but I guess Im wondering if its possible to ditch the X and get a custom insignia. Thanks for the skin link and the info on if tweaking the load insignia is possible

If my memory serves me correctly, startup animation (e.g. flubber, scene, x logo, xbox text etc.) can be altered using custom directX .x meshes.
To allow you to use these, you will need to use the Team iND bios. A config app for the bios can be found there, but you will need to obtain the actual bios image elsewhere.
Custom meshes can be found at AllXboxSkins.com. I personally recommend the pack by NeoNitiPheus, heaps of different models
hope this helps a little
*Edit: there you go, it did serve me correctly!

I was reading this, and i figured i would look into this too, sounds cool.. but i got the config app, but when you try to find the bios itself it says: Download iND-BiOS: n/a (contains MS copyrighted code) is there somewhere "special" you have to get it??

I'm wondering if you read the whole thread. Roo explicitly mentioned that it's not available for download here, because of the fact that it has copyrighted code in it. We cannot help you find it. And please, don't PM us asking, because you'll get the same answer. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."
