I was wondering about downloading this,but could do with a heads up 1st if possible,as I'm looking to fix an issue(subtitles staying on screen all the way through films)with the previous version.
a)Is it a relatively easy procedure to replace the version currently in AID 3.04?
b)If the answer to the above is 'yes',am I likely to break anything,considering I have a fairly ancient xbox 1.1 with an eXecutor2,or at least that's what it says under the big green X at boot-up.
I don't feel confident enough to mess about with dashboards etc. just yet,installing/upgrading xbmc is about my limit.
c)Is the latest AID 3.04 a standalone,or do I have to figure out exactly which .rars/.zips/folders/files to combine it with v3.0?
d)Is there any xbox app.that'll allow me to move files to EXACTLY where I want 'em,(without FTP'ing)rather than having to creat new directories.I can't,for example find an app to install any bin/cue ps1 games to F:/Games/Roms,so of course they won't play,and I'm constantly told pcsxbox can't find or launch scph1001.bin,even though it's there in the pcsxbox directory as plain as day for all to see.
I don't have any FTP facilities at present,so everything has to be be done on the PC & burned to DVD.
I believe I have most of the required apps.,such as CDRWin/Nero/DVDDecryptor,Quix,CXboxTool,Craxtion etc.
I do know how to extract the files from an ISO & then remake an ISO,so I hope that's at least one thing in my favour.

A) Yes. Delete the old folder, and upload the new. You may want to delete the old gamesave entries as well.
B)Dunno, are you using it as an app, or your dash? dash will be more severe if something happens, but not unresuable(?)
C)3.4 is not a standalone, no. it is a series of updates. The titles are really self explanatory, and you only update the ones you want to update.

Big thanks for that Greven,I'm reassured now,and will try not to break too much stuff.
The m/c boots up into Slayers Evox AFAIK(Biohazard???),and always has done since it was chipped a couple of years ago.
I try to read & learn as much as possible myself before posting,but as a poor old git of 49 it doesn't always come as naturally as it does to younger folks.
We didn't even use electronic calculators at school,let alone 'puters...and most TV here was in B/W...lol _________________ xbox1.1 with Executer2....I think
