Is there any site that describe how to backup PS2 original games in a concise way? _________________ I love XBox, PS2 and GameCube!

I've always backed them up through Record Now DX.
Just use disk to disk copy and they all work fine.

Do you need to produce ISO out of the original first?
Also, does it work with a new game, such as Enter the matrix, Metal Gear 2, etc?? _________________ I love XBox, PS2 and GameCube!

All the games can be copied direct, disk to disk. I only use Record Now DX because that makes an exact copy. Enter the Matrix is fine to copy disk to disk but Metal Gear Solid Substance is a D9 disk which means you have to rip it to fit onto a normal DVD-r. I have a HK D9 copy of it so I haven't had to rip it my self.

Alright, so basically when PS2 disks use D9, it also creates problem for PS2, right?
I thought the MGS Substance game has 2 disks???? instead of 1 D9?? Am I right? _________________ I love XBox, PS2 and GameCube!

I haven't seen the Pal version of the game, only the Japanese one and that's a single D9 disk.
If it's an original D9 disk, the Ps2 won't have any trouble reading it.
If it's a pressed HK D9 then most modchips won't read it, especialy in a V7 Ps2. There are a hand full of chips that will autheticate it tho, Messiah2 V1.3 and there is a very cheap modchip which not too many people know about called Stealth5, and that works fine on a V7 Ps2 with all the games.
