i have a "Xecuter 2.6 CE" for those of you that don't know , and i waz messing around with my modchip the other day and the little wire that extends out of the solderless adaptor came off , i think this wire is called the "D0" point wire or something like that.... the wire somehow was tender I guess and popped off.... I have a 1.0 xbox , Xecuter 2.6 Ce modchip , is it possible there can be something i can do to the solderless adaptor so that the chip will still work and I don't have to buy another solderless adaptor?? what i mean is , can i do something to the one i already messed up???

You could solder the wire back to the pogo pin to see if it works

Yeah, the part that is spring-loaded on the underside of the adapter.

If that doesn't work, you might be able to pick up the D0 from elsewhere on your motherboard.

The problem you just described sounds like it could actually be an empty or corrupted bios image.

"To Roo465"
I tried to install the modchip all over again , meaning unscrewing and screwing everything to the board again , 'D0" point is right according to the digram link 'Greven" sent me , thanks again!!
now as u said b4 , it could be corrupted bios image?? or something like that , now note again , when i power on the xbox , the adaptor flashes like 3 times and nothing comes on the screen and on the third flash it stays lit and still nothing on the screen and then the red light in the front is flashing , which means there is an error 5 i think.
do i have to order another chip or can i fix this one somehow someway??

Just order a programmer unless you got one, just need to reflash the chip.

hmmm , okay now the programmer , is that safer than buying another chip for my xbox??? or will that help me full proof , now note again: chip and everything installed correctly , nothing on screen , chip flashes 3 times and then the 3rd time it stays lit and theres nothing on the screen... will the programmer be able to uninstall the "Corrupted Bios Image" as you said before?

The programmer overwrites whatever is there.

where do you live? I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and if your close I could bring the programmmer to you.

If it is a corrupt bios image, there is the change that you could disable the chip, softmod the xobx, get into evox, re-enable the chip and try to flash it through that.

Have you tried both banks on the chip?

nope i live nowhere near there , im in New jersey , U.S. dude , but umm anyways yea i tried both banks on the chip and the both do the same thing but i dont think i can softmod it cuz itz not the stock harddrive that came with the xbox. and i have a hacked eeprom and thatz not the retail either.. so getting the programmer is my best bet or buy another chip right

A replacement eeprom and upgraded HDD won't mattter, you can have both with a softmod.
