Heres a video of how to use a laptop IDE drive in an XBOX. To mount it line up the drive where you want it heat up a safety pin red hot and poke it through each hole in the feet of the metal case on the HDD. Make sure you get all the way through the plastic in the XBOX drive tray. You can now screw it in using 2 small diameter and length screws (must have a point) and they will thread the plastic as you screw them in.
