Ok here a real easy way to clear your jewel. It involves some elbow grease but no sanding.

You need:
- Denatured Alchol
- 2 Rags (cloth)
- Turtle Wax Buffing Compound

Ok take 1 rag and use the denatured alchol and just rub real hard on the white and green paint of the jewel. u will start to get to the clear part. Now just finish it the rest of the way. It may look like there are smudges but thats where the Turtle Wax Buffing Compound comes in. Ok now get another rag and just buff the hell out of it till u think it is ok. The more u buff with more buffing compound the clearer it will be. You want to keep the rag and the jewel lubed up with compound, you dont really want to much friction. Now once your satisfied go rince your jewel and there u go just dry it. Its that easy. I havent messed up any jewels with this process.
