This game has several strikes against it. It's behind the technology curve, it's not original, although the PS2 version does have some added levels. It's camera is obnoxious, with no radar to make up for the lack of peripheral vision, it's level design is convoluted, not too mention the A.I. tells the bad guys it's fine to step off a ledge that's higher then they are tall.
It's visual style is sharp despite the underpowered engine. the simplicity of the levels and A.I. is an advantage of sorts offering a looser feel and wider variety of option than the heavily scripted Metal Gear Solid. This game has a heck of a lot of content to boot. There are three available characters all with distinct missions. If one isn't too bored with this simple game, possibly the multiple characters can give some replay value. Multiplayer isn't much of a draw in itself. The total package is somewhat unique, but still not all that it could have been.
