Shotgun, Zombies and Headshots. What a lovely combination!
When I first saw this game in the arcade with the huge pump action shotgun I fell in love. Unfortunately as can be excepted, this can't really be emulated at home. Dont get me wrong i love the game and have loved all the house of the dead 3 games, but somethings lost with the 3rd convert. Playing through a second time makes more bad guys, and once completed you unlock house of the dead 2.
The levels are pretty much the same and it seems a bit of a flash back to THOD2, starting of outside a building with the only point in the game (sides from the lift) you get to choose which way to go. Come on, this could have been utiliessed more which would have encouraged more replays. A Big chasing monsterand you on into a building then a lift where you get three choices. I could go on but its quite mundane.
I didnt think much of the bosses, the first was my fave a giant securtiy guard, theres a plant monster thingy with speeding tenticals, a sloth?!?!? someone trying subliminals? maybe lazy writers! You fight the cop again then curien the metallic t-1000 ripoff a lot bad guy. The whole point of this game is of course house of the dead 2. Playing that was a completely different experience. It was like the aracde and my mates old dreamcast all over again!
Great storyline great bosses fast pace, danger every where always saving lots of people instead of just dozy lisa and gangsta G!

Overall worth getting for house of the dead 2 if nothing else maybe the should have brought out a proper shotgun for it but no. Ow well, wheres my nintendo super scope hand hack saw. Mwahaha
