A lot of people thought this game was a knock off of GTA only with a "Godfather" theme, and that is false. The truth is, this game is a knock off of an xbox game called "Mafia".
This game is great. There are some really good plot points this covers that the movie did not. You are able to see more behind the scenes of who planted the gun, and helped Michael escape, etc. When you first start playing this game, it is apparent how much work went in to it. It's incredible!
I enjoyed this game, and it has several improved features over "Mafia". One of my favotie features of this game is having to go around an extort businesses. The more you scare the clerks, the more money you get. Scare the clerks too much, and you don't get anything.
One of my least favorite parts about this game is the amount of swearing involved. I know that most people don't care about langauage (I do), but the movie the Godfather is not full of foul language, so I don't see why the game is. When they say "Rated M for Mature" they mean it.
Overall- I would give this game an 7.5
It loses a point for how much language there is, and another point for copying so much of the game Mafia and not fixing "Mafia"'s problem of too much driving.
