In 25 to Life you will experience some hard action whether you are a gang member killing thugs and cops or a Cop trying to put a stop to the gangs on the mean steets.. Either way, whatever you are, your in for some fierce gun fights.
In Single player mode you start as a Gangsta called Freeze, who is tired of the gangsta life and just wants to get out of the gang scene altogether. One problem, you have one more job to do, and things dont always work out as planned. You also play as a police officer who is surrounded by corrupt cops. Shaun who is a gang leader of the 22nd Street D-Boys.
The game itself is not that difficult to make your way through as there are plenty of weapons scattered throughout the levels. Its only a matter of hiding and positioning yourself to where you can pop out from around corners and cars, but just dont be left out in the open.
The graphics are fine but nothing to make me stop and say how wonderful they are.. lol Although, the graphics in the 25 to life also make the 50 cent xbox game graphics look like PS1. So it does have a little going for it.
While i didnt think the graphics were so hot the soundtrack was quite good and the gameplay very straight forward. I enjoyed the title overall and i felt the soundtracks really suited the stages. As you can imagine the music is a blend of hip-hop songs. Another great feature is that you can walk to a boom box which are located in all stages so you can change your background music.
I myself have nearly finished the game in just under 12hrs and I only have the bonus levels to go. Overall, the game is enjoyable and i give it a total rating of 7/10.
